About Heather

Thanks for checking out my profile! I'm a graduate of USF, I have experience with casual babysitting for my neighbors and my sister, as well as 24 years (and counting) experience with cats, dogs, and birds. I am a skilled tutor in most subjects and pride myself on an endless fount of patience. I'd describe my personality as patient, enthusiastic, and gentle. I like working with kids because it's exciting to be a trusted part of their lives as they figure out how to navigate the world. I started working with kids when I was a teenager and more recently, I babysat my neighbor's two children. In my spare time, I like to write, draw, and tidy up my house. One thing you should know about me is I derive a lot of joy out of making other peoples' lives more convenient. My skills include tutoring, fostering creativity, and ensuring safety.
