I see caring for clients as family and hold a bond with them. I have been caring for senior's going on two years. I have cared for a client close to two years who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. He was my very first client I had the opportunity to take care of from daily housekeeping, meal preparation breakfast and lunch daily, transporting him to wheelchair, bed, chair, and car. Dressing him and shower's. I would administer daily medications. Also would take him to appointments if needed. The companionship was great taking him to see his hot rods and listening to his favorite music or just taking him for coffee. My client I work with now has Alzheimer's and a weak heart but gets around the house pretty good. I do daily medication prep, cook breakfast and lunch daily, shower and dress, Sit out on the porch and have conversations. She enjoys playing the piano is very good at it. She loves to wear curls in her hair. She is wonderful to take care of.
