About Heather

From a young age, I've felt drawn to nurturing children and watching them blossom. As a mother of two grown children (20, 23) and in my former career as an elementary music teacher, I've had the joy of caring for children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens. I hold a college degree and am comfortable caring for up to two children at a time. My approach is rooted in patience, creativity, and open communication. I readily adapt to each family's needs, and I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules. I will follow the parents' preferred method of communication to keep them informed about their child's day. I love incorporating music and fun into our activities, whether we're playing outdoor games, tackling board games, or engaging in educational activities. Having a reliable caregiver is invaluable, and I strive to be that for your family. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I look forward to learning how I can share my unique zest for life with your family.
