About Heather

Empowering students to reach their full potential has been the focus of my career for the past decade. As a certified teacher with a graduate degree, I specialize in Math, English, History, and test preparation for elementary through high school students. I hold certifications in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Student accommodation plans (504). My approach centers on creating a patient, engaging environment where I adapt my methods--from visual aids to hands-on practice--based on how you learn best. I believe in breaking complex problems into manageable steps and celebrating every milestone to build your confidence. Because I prioritize clear communication, I work closely with you and your family to foster a collaborative and trusting space. Nothing brings me more joy than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks. I truly look forward to helping you achieve your goals and discovering your unique path to success.
