I'm passionate about helping students unlock their full potential through personalized support. I have a graduate degree and 15 years of experience creating engaging and patient learning environments as an English as a Second Language teacher in Asheboro City Schools. As a certified teacher, I vary my teaching strategies, encouraging open communication and regular parental check-ins. I celebrate small successes and break down complex problems to build momentum. I believe communication is essential for understanding student needs and setting clear expectations. It builds trust and a collaborative environment. The most rewarding part of tutoring is seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills.
