I have recently left my corporate job to do something that gives back, to fulfill my passion for wanting to work with developmentally challenged kids. Although I do not have specific experience with special needs, I have worked in a child care environment for several years. In that time, I was able to care for kids with ADD, ADHD, Autism, and Down Syndrome. I have volunteered for the Special Olympics in Iowa and loved every second of it. I'm currently signed up to volunteer for the Summer Olympics in MN this year. I believe every kid deserves inclusion, respect, and unconditional love.. no matter what life throws at them. I'm also an avid animal lover and my ultimate dream in life is to have a hobby farm for animal therapy for kids with developmental challenges.
