About Heather

I currently work as a paraprofessional in a school that serves special needs in Andover, Ma. My students have autism and social/emotional deficits. I have been working with this population on and off for a number of years beginning when I was in my twenties. My mother has worked in the special education field for 30 years and that is how I was introduced to the field. Her compassion and patience with her students moved me toward this career. I attended North shore Community College and received my associates in animal science. I love all animals especially horses!
