About Heather

Hello, I'm a caring & energetic Mom, held many hats in life such as nanny, basketball/soccer coach, substitute teacher K-12 (17 yrs Maine/CA). I maintain a college degree ; BS-Accounting (37 yrs a professional). I relocated to San Diego in 2021 from Maine (born & raised on Long Island, NY). I have a wonderful 25 yr old college graduate son, now with an amazing career, and being his Mom is still the best job I could ever have been blessed with. I've provided childcare for 70+ families/200+ kids through Care. com and have a great understanding of all ages of youth. I am Covid 19 vaccinated/boosted (I thankfully never got Covid). I am a credentialed certified substitute teacher in San Diego. I enjoy working in early child development, and teaching kids to be their best with confidence in themselves, and truly want to make a difference in their lives. I have a huge heart, am very loving, nurturing, energetic, adventurous, and dependable. I believe it takes a community to raise a child.
