About Heather

I am a former first grade teacher and current at-home mother with three grown-ish children in their teens and early twenties. Since leaving the classroom 19 years ago, I've consistently cared for the infants, toddlers, and children of friends and family members who've needed babysitting for their little ones a few days a week. All who know me also know that I adore babies, and often have a "borrowed" little one in my arms. I'm exceptional with older children as well, and am extremely comfortable providing care and supervision to kids of all ages. I have loved being able to be an at-home parent, but now have more time on my hands than I need. Over the past five years, I have branched out to providing childcare and tutoring services to many families through both Care and word of mouth. I love to lighten the load and am also glad to help with light housekeeping (dishes, laundry, meal prep, tidying) and can happily provide contact information for the many families that I've worked with.
