I have 30 years of experience. 9 of those years I have worked exclusively with special needs. I am looking for a full time job. Many years experience caring for newborns and infants, toddlers and preschoolers, as well as school aged children. I've also cared for 3 sets of infant twins, totaling 3 years. Special needs: premie baby on a feeding tube for a year and a half, and successfully implemented feeding therapies. Four years with a severely disabled young guy with traumatic brain injury, exclusively tube fed, and special form of communication as he was blind and mute. Cared for a 4-year-old boy with non-verbal autism, implemented ABA therapies. Cared for a 3-year-old girl with non-verbal autism, mental retardation, Smith-Lemli-Opitz syndrome, implemented ABA therapies and assisted in occupational therapies.

Heather is an extremely caring person who really seems to have a knack for connecting with children. She is very aware and mindful of the incredible responsibility that lies with her in that parents are choosing to trust her with that which is most dearest to them. I have known Heather for over 25 years, and would recommend her emphatically to anyone who is needing care for special needs children.
