Hi, I'm Heather! I've always had a passion for nurturing children's growth and development, which led me to become a childcare provider. I bring roughly six years of experience as a trusted neighborhood babysitter, caring for children of all ages. As a stay-at-home mother to two boys (ages 3&5), I have enhanced my experience and knowledge in caring for children. My calm and patient nature allows me to handle challenging situations with ease, while my creativity makes playtime fun and educational. I believe in open communication with parents and will provide regular updates about your child's day. I am hoping to provide childcare from my house as I have a 3-year-old that is not yet in school. I am open to coordinating drop offs and/or pick ups. House visits prior and during care are welcomed. Your child's safety, happiness, and development are my top priorities. Heather is the most amazing caregiver! She is sweet, caring, knowledgeable, and so much fun! My child has separation anxiety which makes leaving him with someone very difficult. What drew me to Heather was her ability to quickly develop rapport with my child. She is also so good at consoling him and helping him manage his “big feelings.” When I leave my child, I want to know I can do so without having to worry while I’m gone. I want to know that in my absence, my child is safe and happy, is playing and having fun, is learning and developing and most importantly that he is being well taken care of (fed, changed, cleaned etc.) Heather does all of that and more! My favorite thing about Heather is how naturally wonderful she is with children. She will literally be on the floor laughing and playing with your children. She comes up with the most engaging activities that help your child learn while also having a great time. I highly recommend Heather as a caregiver. Your child/children will be lucky to have her as their caregiver!
