About Heather

I currently have 15 yrs experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in a sub acute rehabilitation setting which has provided me skilled, technical training along with the fundamentals of care giving along with 20 years of personal care experience with the elderly population. This has given me experience with many different ailments, personalities, and perspectives. I am very empathetic and extremely patient with a knack for being persuasive, but not pushy. I am knowledgeable in my trade, resourceful and adaptable to my surroundings. As a personal assistant, I can provide a wide range of assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, assisting with ambulation or transferring & toileting. In addition, I can also assist with shopping, meal preparation, appointments, transportation, laundry, leisure activity & companionship.
