About Heather

Hello! My name is Heather and I have a BS in biochemistry with a minor in biology. I have worked as a private tutor for many years as well as teaching both k-12 and university level for English and science. I have extensive experience with science, math, and English. I think education, whatever the subject, should be accessible to everyone and have worked hard over the years to provide a supportive, educational experience. Science specifics: I have studied and taught all levels of biology and chemistry, and quite a few physics classes. Math specifics: I studied up to calculus 3 for university, but feel most comfortable tutoring up to calculus 1. English specifics: I have studied and taught up to university levels English. I have also helped students do coursework for GED certification and SAT/ACT prep. As well as helping students with college applications and essays. I also have experience of teaching students with learning disabilities
