About Heather

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience supporting elementary and middle school learners, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for discovery. I believe that every student thrives when concepts are broken down into manageable steps, allowing for the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills. By observing how you interact with new material, I tailor my approach--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or interactive discussions--to match your unique learning style. I prioritize clear, consistent communication with families to ensure we are always working as a team. Whether we are exploring science, history, or study skills, I celebrate every small success along the way. I truly find my greatest joy in watching you gain the confidence to master new challenges and reach your academic goals.
