About Heather

I am 29 years old and the mother of a wonderful 7-year-old boy. We reside in the hollow of Afton. We have chickens and a lovely kitchen garden. I love organic gardening and creating meals from farm to table. We also love hiking and fishing in the pond next to our home. I am a full time student, who is 3 years into college. My end goal is getting my bachelor's in education and opening up a nature based, home school cooperative. I have been a comedian in Charlottesville for 5+ years and perform and teach improv comedy. I teach a children's improv comedy class. I also currently nanny in Charlottesville, but I am looking for children to look after at my home base in Afton this summer. I have 5 years of pre-k teaching experience and 3 years of nanny experience. Helping children to learn through humor and nature are my passions and would look forward to helping with your child!
