About Heather

I'd describe my personality as reliable, intentional, and determined. I believe animals should be treated with respect. I like working with animals because they tell so much about their likes and dislikes with their body language. I'm looking for a job that allows me to provide an alternative to pets staying at home, waiting for their parents to come back home My passion for more challenging dogs came when I rescued Edwin. He is a reactive dog who has taught me that some dogs dont know how to communicate with other dogs. They can be taught how to disengage in overstimulating situations, but their reactivity will not go away with exposure training. Edwin has shown me that some dogs have comfort zones that are necessary for their quality of life. In my spare time, I like to read, play Animal Crossing, and practice my drawing skills
