About Heather

Hi! I'm Heather, an empathetic, fun, and curious person ready for any challenge. Working with families has been my life's joy and I love that kids always ask questions, make life an adventure, and keep me learning new things. I started babysitting at 12 years old and have worked since then in after school programs, preschool, and for the Department of Child Safety. I like to hike, garden, volunteer for animal rescue. I enjoy crafting and learning/teaching about our beautiful planet and am happy to engage with families in any of these capacities should they wish. I've created early childhood curriculum and enjoy teaching. I have 10 years of animal handling experience to add to families with pets, including training and desensitization skills. One thing you should know about me is I currently have a finger print clearance card and an CPR/1st Aid Certified. I contacted with DCS for 12 years with an Arizona nonprofit and am happy provide recommendation from those I've worked with.
