About Heather

My interests include health and wellness, sustainability & having a great time doing whatever I'm doing! I am one of 6 kids, the middle child and helped raise my three younger siblings. At the age of 5 I was already successfully changing diapers, mixing formula and feeding my little sister (including burping and clean up). By the time my younger brother was born, I was 10 and able to bathe and put down to sleep. Aside from my siblings, I've cared for children ranging in age from 5 months - 11 years old and always have a lot of fun working with the kids I've watched. I am very attentive and have a lot of attention to detail so I am able to react quickly to the unpredictability that comes along with care giving. I am extremely active and love being outside, which a lot of the younger kids often take advantage of. I'm a big kid at heart so I like to get into my imagination and make up fun new games to play with the kids. I've always been a swimmer and have been Red Cross certified.
