About Heather

I offer help with ADL's. My goal is to enrich the lives of seniors. I was a SAHM for 25 yrs, a caregiver at heart, and while I do not have formal training, I do have experience with dementia, with my Grandma and MIL. My MIL also had diabetes and kidney failure, I cared for her full time for the last 4mos. of her life in our home. The last 2. 5 yrs. I have done respite care. I have a friend who does care in her home for 3 seniors, I travel to VT when she needs coverage. I also care for a 94 yo on an on-call basis. I am a patient, kind and compassionate individual. I believe that senior care is my calling at this point in my life. My only issue would be my furry sidekick, Winnie. She is 3 yo, 15 lb, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who gets sad when left alone too long. She is very friendly, house trained, spayed, vaccinated. For longer shifts, I would love the ability to bring her along.
