I started caregiving many years ago - 20 plus years of experience. I received my certification as a nurse aide, and worked in home care, private care, assisted living, and briefly in a nursing home. I also have worked with other age groups, privately and in the public school system. I have a special place in my heart for elderly, and enjoy being with them very much. There can be challenges as well, but that keeps the job interesting! My personality is very easy going, and I have a great sense of humor. I try to have an awareness of when to be serious, and when to lighten up. I am a patient person, and have compassion for everyone I meet. I do not force an agenda, but rather do what is requested of me. Willing to get a background check, if that's what is needed for you to feel safe. I completely understand with the world we live in!
