I started caregiving many years ago - I received my certification as a nurse aide, and worked in home care, private care, assisted living, and briefly in a nursing home. I also have worked with other age groups, privately and in the public school system. I have a special place in my heart for elderly, and enjoy being with them very much. There can be challenges as well, but that keeps the job interesting! My personality is very easy going, and I have a great sense of humor. I try to have an awareness of when to be serious, and when to lighten up. I am an extraordinarily patient person, and have compassion for everyone I meet. I try to meet people 'where they are at' and have a sense of "we're in this together." I am fully vaccinated.
