About Heather

Caring for littles is my passion. For the past three years, I've had the joy of caring for children newborn to 6. I worked in childcare centers, and helped open one. I have my bachelor's in early childhood and elementary education and taught Kindergarten for six years. During those summers I worked as a nanny full time and truly loved it. After my daughter was born I stepped away from teaching to care for her, and meet her medical needs at the time. I began working in childcare again mostly in infant rooms, but also have toddler experience. I am patient, friendly, caring, and comfortable enforcing expectations and routines. I enjoy playing games, puzzles, and reading books. I communicate with parents using their preferred method. I am comfortable caring for multiple children. I have a reliable car, am comfortable with pets, and am certified in CPR and First Aid. I'm eager to bring my enthusiasm and dedication to your family, helping your child thrive.
