About Heather

I'd describe my personality as a leader, with a gentle and empathetic manner. My heart lies with helping Veterans and the elderly. I like caring for seniors because the lessons they have and share are vast, and something I enjoy listening to and witnessing. I want to soak up all the wisdom that I am able. I'm looking for a job that has some flexibility. I'm a caregiver by nature, I'm detailed oriented. Helping others, helps me. I started caring for seniors during Covid and I was assisting my Grandfather, and the VA was paying me for that. I was then encouraged to take on other clients in the area, where I was living. I also, was present and helped guide end of life care with my beloved Grandfather. He passed in his home of 70 years, just has he wanted. In my spare time, I like to be in nature. Reading is a hobby of mine. I do yoga and meditation to keep myself grounded, as well as for, the healing benefits. One thing you should know about me is that I'm very likeable.
