Caregiving is about more than helping with daily needs-it's about caring for someone the way I would want someone to care for me or someone I love. After years of hands-on experience in clinical settings and caring for individuals living with dementia and Alzheimer's. Much of my knowledge has come through experience and self-directed learning, but what truly guides my caregiving is compassion, patience, and respect. I want the people I care for to feel safe, heard, valued, and never like a burden. Aging and dementia can bring difficult days, and I believe those are the moments when kindness matters most. I take the time to learn who someone is; their routines, stories, preferences, and the things that bring them comfort. Every person deserves to maintain their dignity and individuality while receiving the support they need. To be given grace without question. My hope is that families feel peace knowing their loved one is not simply being cared of, but genuinely cared for.
