About Heather

Caring for children and supporting families has been a lifelong passion. I have worked with children since I was 13, including as an early childhood educator during college, and I have raised four children of my own. My experience has taught me that every child is unique. I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel valued, confident, and loved while encouraging learning, creativity, and independence. I am dependable, patient, and organized, and I enjoy partnering with parents to support their family's routines and values. Whether helping with homework, preparing meals, planning fun and educational activities, or simply being a trusted, caring presence, my goal is to help children thrive and give parents peace of mind. I also have experience caring for a family with 3 children on the autism spectrum, including a nonverbal child and children with varying communication and social needs.
