About Heather

Hi! My name is Heather, and I have been teaching for around 14 years and working with children and families for even longer. I've worked as a nanny, babysitter, and teacher, and I have experience with children of all ages and a wide variety of family dynamics and needs. Who I am as a caregiver: I'd say I'm the best of both worlds! I am extremely professional, dependable, and responsible when needed, while also having no shame in being silly, playful, and fully engaged with children. I believe childhood should be filled with joy, connection, play, and meaningful experiences. My goal is always to create a safe, supportive environment where children can thrive and families feel genuinely supported as a team. Who I am as an individual: I'm adventurous, active, and creative and I love being outdoors, playing sports, swimming, making art, trying new hobbies. I'm also a huge dog lover, so bonus points if there are dogs!! I have 3 of my own. I am engaged and getting married this summer.
