About Heather

Hello my name is Heather. I am a former Spanish teacher looking for a nannying or tutoring job. I have my own transportation and am willing to travel. I am a non smoker and have 2 dogs. I'm hoping to apply my abilities as a sitter or tutor. I can alter my schedule to meet your needs. I am happy to help with play date supervision, before & after school care, arts and crafts activities, meal prep, homework/tutoring, and light housework. I have experience as a caregiver nannying for children ranging in age from 5-15. I previously took a year off from teaching and was a full time nanny for a family with two children ages 9 & 10. I hold a NYS Teaching Certification and I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Spanish. I also offer tutoring lessons to elementary-high school students. I am CPR/First Aid certified. I am outgoing, organized, and patient. I love the outdoors and am passionate about exercising, hiking, and rock climbing. I also love animals, art, crafting, & photography.
