About Heather
I helped care for my great-grandmother when she moved closer to me/family. I ran errands for her, helped clean around the house and most importantly kept her company. At 100 years old she was a bit jaded and weary, but she still had the spark and spunk as she always had. At the heart of caring for her was compassion. I can't imagine what it felt like to go from a home of her own in Pennsylvania to a semi-assisted living in Florida. Independence was everything to her so I still made sure she had a saying in everything to give her some of that independence back.
