About Heather

My greatest passion in life has always been working with children! I began as a mother's helper when I was just 11 yrs old and have been working with children in one way or another since then and turned that into my career! In the past I've worked in day care and preschool settings but always prefer working as a babysitter/nanny! I love the one on one attention I'm able to give to families and their children, in the comfort of their own home. For me, being a nanny goes beyond just childcare. I love helping out with the household as a whole, to make sure everything runs smoothly and everyone is happy! Whether it's laundry, cooking, errands, etc... i'm happy to help! I'm a very creative person and love doing arts and crafts, imaginative play, things with nature and outdoors... I'm always reading a good book and love encouraging children to read. I'm an animal lover, with pets of my own and very comfortable around yours and happy to help with them as well!
