About Haylie

I'm a nursing student at TCSS with one semester left until I earn my BSN/RN, and I genuinely enjoy helping others learn and build confidence academically. I have experience working with children and students of different ages through after-school programs, mentoring, and healthcare education settings. I'm especially comfortable helping with science, biology, health-related subjects, reading comprehension, organization, study skills, and healthy lifestyle habits including fitness and wellness. I understand that every student learns differently, so I try to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions without feeling judged or overwhelmed. I'm patient, dependable, and good at breaking down difficult concepts into simpler, more understandable steps. My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them feel more confident in their abilities and proud of their progress.
