Since high school, I've gained extensive experience tutoring kids, which sparked my passion for education. Five years ago, I started an English summer program to support children in my underserved neighborhood, aiming to close language gaps and build confidence. I graduated from New York University with a major in Neural Science with a pre-med track and minors in Chemistry, Biology, and Psychology. I especially enjoy teaching sciences and languages, and I'm driven by the joy of helping young learners grow. Haylie has exceeded all my expectations in tutoring my 10 year old daughter for a standardized test and bringing her up to the top percentile in score. Haylie is so kind and caring and most importantly she makes even the most tedious tasks fun. Besides tutoring my daughter, Haylie also did some babysitting and my daughter enjoyed cooking, reading and creating art during their time together. Haylie even created math work sheets based on the baking she did with my daughter. I would highly recommend her. Any child and family would be lucky to have Haylie as a tutor and mentor.
