I am an experienced Home Care Aide (HCA) with two years of hands-on caregiving experience supporting individuals with a variety of physical, emotional, and cognitive needs. I assist with meal preparation based on dietary needs, feeding support, and medication reminders while following care plans closely. I have provided compassionate end-of-life care, focusing on comfort, dignity, and emotional support for clients and their families. I have strong experience working with individuals with dementia, using redirection, routine, and clear communication to create a calm and safe environment. I am also skilled in managing combative behaviors with patience and de-escalation techniques.
