Hayleigh connected well with our one-year-old and showed patience, but she struggled with our four-year-old, especially when he expressed opinions. In the month she was with us, she called in sick four times and left early several times, never completing a full week. She gave no indication of concerns before resigning and left without notice, which placed a major strain on our family and work schedules. To my knowledge, this is the second time she has left a family in this way. She also has strong sensitivities and anxiety around food, which can require household adjustments/finical strain. We wish Hayleigh the best moving forward, but recommend that families have a backup care option due to her difficulty expressing frustrations or working toward solutions, and her tendency not to provide adequate notice before leaving.
