Hi! I am a pre-nursing major and have one semester left before I can apply for nursing programs in January. I just finished my AA in Deaf Studies as well, so I have a background in ASL. I have worked for the past 1. 5 years with a family whose daughter has CP, Microcephaly, and who is visually and auditorily impaired. I have experience feeding via G-tube and managing infantile seizures. I have worked with several physical and cognitive disabilities. In my own family, my uncle has Down Syndrome, so I was raised with a fundamental understanding of disabilities and how to take care of others. I am a natural caretaker and have so much love in my heart for people's families. I love what I do and am happy to provide references and any information you might be interested to learn more about!
