About Havvah

Hello! I am writing on behalf of my dear friend Carmelina. She is 24, and a registered NYC resident and an active and beloved member of the community. She lives in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, but can commute anywhere within the city. She is also a mother to a 10-month-old, thus an expert in caring for infants. She adores kids of all ages, and has 4+ years of experience helping to raise her younger brothers and cousins. She speaks Spanish, but is learning English and can get along just fine. She is looking for a family who wants a primarily Spanish speaking caregiver. She is inspired by the endless kids endless curiosity, and finds observation to be a necessary factor to to see where the child can grow and where their strengths lie, and get to know them to create an authentic connection based on trust. She also wants to highlight the importance of consistent communication with the parents, so that she can best suit the needs of the family. She can also do some light housework and cooking.
