About Haven

Raising children is the most important and highest risk job anyone will ever have. I have babysat for as long as I can remember, and the summer before I started grad school I worked at a locally owned daycare in Omaha, NE, working with school aged children. I have always been inspired by the unbridled joy and enthusiasm children bring to everyday life. Little things like being outside, their favorite snack, their inanimate toys, mean THE WORLD to them. They remind me to love those little things that used to be big to me. With this great joy, I recognize a great responsibility. Children are so new to the world and everything from their physical safety to their outlook on themselves and the world relies on the the adults around them. I can’t say enough good things about Haven. She is punctual, communicative, responsible and most importantly my son LOVES her. She has babysat for us several times now and I plan to have her continue watching my son for as long as she is available. I treated her to drive him to the park which is a big deal for me. I am so thankful to have found her .
