About Hattie

Available for summer tutoring (June through beginning of August) I recently graduated with a B. S. in physics from Gonzaga University, where I worked as a one-on-one peer tutor for student-athletes in math and physics courses for three years. I have also private tutored for both high school and college students in physics courses and volunteer tutored for K-8 students in all subjects. Tutoring in physics has been a great opportunity for me to help others in a difficult subject and to solidify my own understanding of physics concepts. I can't pretend that I don't sometimes struggle alongside students, but I appreciate learning from their questions and ways of thinking and being able to arrive at solutions together. No matter the age or subject, I love helping students recognize their own capabilities and would be happy to give you or your child the attention needed to achieve your/their academic goals!
