About Harriet
I have had dogs my entire childhood and young adult life. I've fostered dogs for almost two years. Through fostering I have been able to help 8 dogs get out of the shelter and find their forever homes. I just recently foster failed (adopted) my most recent foster who was a nervous barker before we started training. I love meeting each dog and getting to know their unique personality. I have experience training and managing dog behaviors/ interactions. I understand the nuance of dog body language and make every effort to make sure that all dogs in my care feel safe and secure. I have three dogs of my own (28lbs, 40lbs, and 45lbs) All are well socialized and welcoming to guests. I also have experience caring for cats and birds. I grew up with a hamster and always interested in learning about and meeting different types of animals I cannot provide dog walks at the time because of an ankle injury
