About Harriet

Hi! I'm Harriet, and I'll be moving back to Chicago this September after spending the past year in my hometown of Vermont. Before moving home, I lived in Chicago for two years and attended Lake Forest College, where I played lacrosse. Since returning to Vermont, I've been nannying full-time, and it's made me realize how much I genuinely love working with children. I'm looking for a wonderful family in Chicago to grow with as I make the move back. I'll be living in Wicker Park and will be completing my Graphic Design certification remotely while also beginning massage therapy school. My favorite part of nannying is building a real connection with both the kids and their family. I'm naturally goofy, playful, and energetic, and I love encouraging creativity, imagination, and lots of laughter. At the same time, I value being dependable, patient, and creating a safe, supportive environment where children feel comfortable being themselves.
