I have extensive, hands-on experience providing compassionate care to individuals with special needs. I graduated from Loyola Chicago in May 2025 with a B. S in Psychology. I am now working as a Clinical Research Coordinator at UMass Chan Medical School. In research labs, I supported children with rare genetic conditions that caused developmental delays and physical challenges, giving me a strong understanding of specialized routines, patience, and adaptive communication. I have also babysat children with autism, tailoring activities and transitions to meet their sensory and social needs. Additionally, my cousin who is special needs has lived with my family for 10 years, during which I helped care for him daily. These experiences have taught me empathy, consistency, and the ability to create a safe, supportive environment where each child can thrive.
