About Hanna

Hi! My name is Hanna. I'm from San Diego and currently studying Psychology with a minor in Child Development at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I am extremely passionate about children's mental and emotional development. I'm new to Care but during the school year I worked at a Child Development Facility with kids ages 5 months-5 years. It's a play-based curriculum but we also teach critical social, emotional, and communication skills. The kids practice spelling, artwork, and nature-incorporated themes (ex. The life cycle of a butterfly) daily. I've also babysat in the past and had younger siblings my entire childhood, so I'm very familiar with childcare. I consider my strengths to be that I'm extremely empathetic, hard-working, and well-organized. I'm home for the summer and would love to work with some more kiddos!! I have a very open and flexible schedule and am willing to help families any way I can :)
