About Hanna

Experienced K-6 Tutor | Math Science, Reading & Writing Hi! I'm Meteorologist Hanna, a recent graduate of the University of Georgia, who relocated to Chico, California to pursue her first full-time position out of college. I am originally from East Hampton, New York, but moved to Georgia to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Sciences. While in college I served at a math, science, reading and writing tutor for a variety of students at different levels. My background gives me a strong foundation for making STEM concepts click for kids-I especially love breaking down tricky topics into simple, relatable, explanations. At the same time, I'm just as passionate about literacy, helping students strengthen their reading comprehension and writing skills through patient, personalized instruction. Every student learns differently, so I tailor my approach to fit each child's pace, learning style, and goals. I'd love to help your child grow academically and gain confidence!
