For the past year, I worked as an attendant for one boy that has down syndrome and severe ADHD and another boy that has autism and mild down syndrome. I plan on pursuing a career in pediatrics, whether that be medical or occupational therapy. I love working with children with disabilities because you actual feel like your making a difference in someone's life, which is the most rewarding thing in life. I also pride myself on being extremely patient because patience's leads to learning and independence!
