I have a 15-year-old brother with CP, but also have some experience with Autism and Down Syndrome. In high school, I was part of 15 students to annually organize Special Day for Special Kids. I was formerly an Education major, but currently am debating on switching over to the Physical Therapy program. Needless to say, the spark that keeps me going is my love for the outdoors and adventure (river trips, hikes, camping, slacklining, etc.) and being able to share that with as many as possible. At this point, to me, that means doing whatever needs to be done to help enable those not as physically able as myself. I also currently work part time a Bikram yoga studio where rehabilitating the human body on large and small scales is what we do daily!
