About Hannah

My name is Hannah and I am originally from Virginia, but just moved to the Charlottesville region to study medicine at UVA. My experience with childcare started when I was about 12 and babysat for my two younger brothers as well as multiple families in our neighborhood and church. I continued to babysit for a number of families throughout high school and I also volunteered as a counselor every summer for our church camp for children ages 8-13. In college I worked for an organization, which linked me with numerous babysitting jobs as well as a full-time nannying position that I held for a year and a half. Most recently, I have been living in New York City where I regularly babysat for a wonderful family with four children. I love being active and spending time outdoors and I love pets (I have my own big silly dog). I have lots of experience helping kids with reading and homework and I've also cared for children who have special needs such as autism and diabetes.
