I've been taking care of children for as long as I can remember. I grew up working for my grandmother who owned and operated a well-respected day care. I transitioned that into a career after graduating, working full-time in her daycare for 3 years. When she retired 2. 5 years ago I started working for my current family when their 2 children were under 2. The job was originally a nanny share where I took care of 3 children 2 and under full time and after returning from maternity leave continued caring for my son and their two children full time. I am only looking for opportunities where my son 16 mo, can join me. I love to do outings, specifically the park and library, and enjoy imaginative child led play. I practice respectful caregiving and would prefer to work with a family that believes in this methodology. My current family described me as dependable, patient, kind, honest, and respectful. I'm really looking for a family where we can work together to raise kind, happy kids.

We have been lucky and honored to have Hannah as part of our family for the past 4 years. She has been a caring advocate, supporter, and nurturer for our son. From the time he was in diapers to his first year in school, Hannah has continually adapted to fill his life with love, laughter, and light. She has always met him with great developmental appropriateness and adapted to his temperament. As a psychiatrist, I have been truly impressed with her ability to attune herself so well to his needs, hold tension to push him out of his comfort zone, and create a safe space for him to always come back to. We are so sad that our family is now in a stage of our life where we are transitioning forward, but we know we could not have done it without her. If you are lucky enough to have her join your family, know her light and presence will fill yours snd your little ones’ cups every day.
