About Hannah

Hi! My name is Hannah, and I bring over a decade of experience in teaching/tutoring and caring for children. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education with a minor in Public Speaking and an a certified teacher in both . Currently, I teach 9th Grade Literature and Composition, but my experience includes teaching 9th, 10th, and 11th grades, as well as student teaching in a 7th grade ELA class. I also have a 9-year-old stepdaughter and have prior experience as a substitute in a preschool, so I understand the needs of children across various age groups. I am passionate about kids, learning, and fostering a love for reading. My goal is always to provide a safe, supportive, and enriching environment. Whether I'm working with preschoolers or teenagers, I focus on making learning fun, positive, and personalized to each child's needs. In my free time, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family and dog.
