Thanks for visiting my profile! I'm an artist, substitute teacher, and previous nanny of 10 years, currently looking for a summer position. I've cared for children of all ages from newborns, all the way up to 15, including one summer as a live-in camp counselor/horseback riding instructor! My BFA was geared toward teaching so I absolutely love planning anything art related! I also love outside time (rain or shine!), science projects, and most of all, getting to be silly and have fun with the kiddos! I'm passionate about child-led learning and giving children the freedom to follow their intuition and show me what their interests are, so that I can facilitate experiences that nurture that intuition. I always want the kids I watch to feel seen and heard, and when they're with me I can assure you they will! Hannah, whom we affectionately refer to as "Nanny Hanny", is a wonderful childcare provider. She has taken care of our baby daughter a couple of days a week for the past six months (from age 8 mo. - 14 mo.). Hannah is vibrant, positive, and fun! She is a natural when it comes to kids. She is very interactive and activity-driven. She never loses her patience, and can power through even the toughest days with a great attitude. I work from home a lot so I have had the pleasure of spending quite a bit of time with her. It was very easy to welcome her into our home and family and I highly recommend her to other families.
