I am a new graduate student at Appalachian State University where I will be studying school psychology. I am looking forward to a career within a school system where I can be an advocate for students and help them succeed academically and behaviorally. In the meantime, I would love to have a summer job that could potentially continue into the school year. I have accumulated about four years of paid work between camp counselor jobs and babysitting. In addition to those jobs, I have had various volunteer jobs with children and adults that have Down Syndrome, ADHD, and Autism. If you were to ask anyone who I have worked with, they would say I have an empathetic demeanor and an extreme amount of patience. I love spending time in nature and making art and crafts, and I would love to share that passion to any child I work with.
