I'm a paraeducator during the school year, on the path to teacher certification. I love to teach and tutor because every kid deserves to feel like they can get better with practice and they have support. I graduated from Smith College with a degree in Biological Sciences and Environmental Science & Policy. There, I was a teaching assistant and pedagogical partner for biology classes. In addition, I am a strong reader, writer, and I am very familiar with expectations for K-12 in these subjects. I have experience with kids pre-k through 8th through babysitting, teaching, and as a camp counselor. I was also a classroom volunteer for Scientific Adventures for Girls, an afterschool program that serves the East Bay. I was a swim instructor for 4 years, and would love to support your child at any level in the pool!

Hannah was a life saver for the care and tutoring she provided to my nieces (who were visiting from out of state). She taught them some dance moves ( upon request ) which got some energy out. They are returning home feeling accomplished about having learnt something new. During the the hours she was with us, the rest of the party could tap into the respite. I was particularly impressed with the way she could walk in and command their attention. Thank you !
