About Hannah

I'm a paraeducator during the school year, on the path to teacher certification. I love to teach and tutor because every kid deserves to feel like they can get better with practice and they have support. I graduated from Smith College with a degree in Biological Sciences and Environmental Science & Policy. There, I was a teaching assistant and pedagogical partner for biology classes. In addition, I am a strong reader, writer, and I am very familiar with expectations for K-12 in these subjects. I have experience with kids pre-k through 8th through babysitting, teaching, and as a camp counselor. I was also a classroom volunteer for Scientific Adventures for Girls, an afterschool program that serves the East Bay. I was a swim instructor for 4 years, and would love to support your child at any level in the pool!
