About Hannah

Hi! I'm a freshman at the University of Iowa planning to go into a pediatric healthcare field. I'm from Ames (been home since March 13) and I'll be here all summer! I love working with kids, and I have experience with children of all ages. I have tutored for 5 years, I'm a certified lifeguard, and I volunteer at the UIowa Children's Hospital Pediatric ICU where I work closely with infants and young children (rocking them, reading, playing games, etc). I've also babysat for a number of families (many with multiple children) over the past 6 years, and I've worked in the childcare center at the Public Library during their "Baby Talk" parenting classes. I am looking for a summer position that combines my skills and experience with what I enjoy! I am responsible, reliable, and caring. I like thinking of crafts and games to keep kids entertained, as well as playing outside or visiting the library! I am also willing to do housework, cook meals, or run errands.
